Oil and gas firm Apache have donated £3,000 to Peterhead Hospital which will go towards buying a new Striker Trolley.
The new trolley will provide comfort for those waiting for treatment and can also be used during X-rays.
The new piece of equipment is also safer and easier to move.
Alison Leslie of Peterhead Hospital’s casualty department said: “These trolleys are very expensive so we are extremely grateful to Apache for their donation, we are eternally grateful.”
Fiona Allardyce, Public Affairs Co-ordinator of Apache, said: “The funding was set aside by the company to help local health initiatives close to communities where we operate, and Apache is delighted to be continuing to support Peterhead Community Hospital and also to provide equipment which will help members of the local community.”
