Employees from a North-east recruitment firm are set to undertake a skydive in a bid to raise funds for the firm’s charity of the year.
Alasdair Corbett, Steph Wemyss and Stephanie Gourley of Genesis Personnel, will take to the skies this Sunday (October 18) in aid of children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent.
With an original target of £1,500, the trio have already surpassed this, raising more than £2,500 to-date, after hosting a buttery morning and a One Night Only concert.
Alasdair Corbett, creative designer at Genesis Personnel, said: “There was a lot of hypeand excitement around our One Night Only concert, however now that this has taken place, reality has hit home as the skydive is rapidly approaching.
“Although this is something the girls and I have always wanted to do, our nerves are kicking in ahead of Sunday’s jump.
“However our efforts will all be worth it in the end as CLIC Sargent is a fantastic cause and one we are all delighted to support,” he added.
