A fun run is being organised, with help from Peterhead Football Club, in aid of Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland to honour of a local man.
Charles Duncan, a well-known mechanic in the Blue Toon, died in August this year of a heart attack.
And in honour of his memory, the family and friends of Charles Duncan, are having the fund raising day on Sunday, November 29.
As well as money going to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, funds raised will go towards purchasing a public access defibrillator for Peterhead.
It is hoped that the defibrillator will be sited outside at Catto Park pavilion, and that there will be a training night so that the Blue Toon public can be shown how to use it.
The Braveheart Fun Run will include 1, 3, 5, and 10km walk, jog, or run.
Registration is at 12-12.45am for a 1pm start at Balmoor Stadium.
There will be a minimum £5 and ‘all donations are welcome’.
There will also be a Christmas Fayre, organised in the Peterhead Football Club.
Donations can be made online at www.justgiving.com/braveheartfunruns/.
Charles Duncan ran Peterhead Motors until his tragic death earlier this year.
