The latest internal competition at Peterhead Camera Club was based around the theme of Shadows.
The images were judged by George Smart, previously of the Happy Plant in Mintlaw but now running Grumpygeorge Photography with his wife Serena in a wee shop in Skye.
George gave a very detailed breakdown of his mark allocation for each image which was welcomed by the members as it not only highlighted areas were attention was required but also indicated where they had achieved technical and artistic excellence.
In first place was newcomer Stewart Fisher with a total of 69 points. Second was Patricia Forbes with 66 points and in equal third place were Stewart Sievwright and Susan Laskey with 64 points.
This completes a busy week for the club as last week members travelled to Banff for the results of a friendly competition with Deveron Camera Club.
In a keenly fought competition Peterhead emerged as the winners thanks to having three of the four highest scoring images of the night.
