Aberdeen Foyer’s Prince’s Trust Team 33 held their final presentation ceremony at The Palace Hotel on Wednesday, August 6.
The evening, attended by around 100 family members, friends and partnership agencies, was the last challenge for the team.
Each team member delivered presentations on what they did during their time on the programme and spoke about their personal journeys.
The nine team members have now finished the programme with nationally recognised qualifications.
Over the last 12 weeks, Team 33 attended an outward bounds course, carried out a community project and successfully completed two week work placements.
They also recently completed their Team Challenge in which they worked at two local nurseries, spent a day at Grangepark and Kirkburn Court Nursing homes as well as organising a Soup and Sweet and Community Scavenger Hunt.
Team 33 would like to thank CNR International, work placement providers and organisations who have supported them.
The Prince’s Trust Team Programme is delivered in North Aberdeenshire by Aberdeen Foyer in partnership with Aberdeen College.
The programme is a 12-week self development course for 16–25-year-olds, designed to increase confidence, motivation and raise self-esteem.
The next team will begin on Monday, September 22 and those interested should contact team leader, Kevin Warrander, on 07930 605887 or email@example.com.
