Willowbank Show Group & All Stars Drama Group are currently rehearsing a routine for “An Explosion Of Talent” – a fundraising variety concert organised by Willowbank Centre on behalf of Cancer Research and Willowbank Centre.
Commenting on the forthcoming show at Peterhead Community Centre, Una Simpson, Willowbank centre manager said: “After their successful participation in the Rotary Club Scottish Week Concert, the groups decided they would like to have the chance to do their routines again plus one or two favourite pieces from past shows, but this time for Willowbank and a charity.
Cancer Research was chosen as director, Morag Skene’s family was tragically affected by the disease earlier this year.
The cast have been working really hard over many months to bring you a night of great entertainment.
““The evening will include their special tribute to WWI, their Hamecoming inspired Scottish routines, a saucy sketch and a ‘dazzling’ musical theatre number.
“They are really excited to be joined on stage by hilarious compere Doreen Duncan, local singing sensations, Stephanie Weymss, Alasdair Corbett, Aurora and a mystery guest musician,” she said.
“It promises to be a fantastic night and we hope the people of Peterhead will come out to support us and such an excellent cause.”
