Margie Davidson and her team of volunteers are on hand all week to speak you through the displays on view at the Scottish Week Fishing Heritage Centre Exhibition.

Those going along to the Peterhead Port Authority auction hall can see a host of fishing memorabilia from model fishing trawlers and knitted fishermen's gansies to old fisher folk photos, interesting artefacts and the prize-winning Burnhaven School display wall.

The event runs at the auction hall tomorrow and Friday from 10am to 3.30pm and is a must for local historians and visitors to the town who want to discover its rich fishing heritage.
