Political Q&A at Hatton

Two MPs took part in a special question and answer session at Hatton Cruden School last week.

Alex Salmond and Eilidh Whiteford were invited to take part in the session by the school’s Pupil Council.

Upon their arrival at the school on Friday, April 29, the two MPs introduced themselves and explained their roles.

The Pupil Council members then took turns to ask their questions including who their inspirations are, what it is like visiting the Queen, and if they had ever met Ant and Dec.

The pupils also asked if the UK was doing enough to help refugees, what their greatest achievements were and where they went to school.

The question and answer session was followed by a song, Build Up, and the two MPs were encouraged to join in.
