Stagecoach Bluebird are pleased to announce the winner of their Green Week Schools poster competition as Maisie from Maud Primary.
During the week-long programme of events, Stagecoach Bluebird encouraged employees and customers to further drive forward their green agenda with a number of activities which took place from 21-25 May.
Among the events held throughout the week was a school poster competition at Maud Primary School in which pupils tried to encourage bus travel on an A3 size poster. Pupils from P1 - P7 entered in the hope of winning a brand new bicycle as well as having their poster displayed on the rear of a Stagecoach Bluebird bus.
The winner was drawn as Maisie from P6 who included some of the benefits of bus travel in her poster. Four runners-up also won a £50 voucher to spend on bicycle accessories.
This was Transport group Stagecoach’s fourth annual Group-wide Green Week to celebrate its environmental achievements so far. Other activities during the week in the Bluebird area included ‘green kit’ giveaways at bus stations, an online competition where one lucky winner won one years free travel and staff took part in a litter pick in Moray.
