A popular school nursery nurse has bid farewell to her last batch of wee graduates.
Aileen Smith is retiring from Boddam School after 30 years service and says she will miss the children very much.
The nursery class donned graduation robes and hats on Friday and took part in the annual graduation ceremony watched by proud parents and staff.
The majority of the class will start Primary 1 at Boddam School after the summer.
Aileen has looked after so many Boddam nursery pupils over the years that she still bumps into Peterhead Academy pupils who remember her fondly.
She added: “I’ve had a super time working at the school and leave with so many good memories.”
Headteacher Alison Nicol said: “Mrs Smith has been a valued member of staff and will be very sadly missed.
“She has many strengths and we have been lucky to have a nursery nurse of her calibre with us here at the school.”
