Clerkhill School recently celebrated the life and work of famous Scots Poet Robert Burns by hosting an evening of Scottish themed entertainment.
The night was opened by the Piping in of the Haggis by local girl Joanna Milne and the “Address to a Haggis” by P7 pupil Brue Buchan.
This was then followed by a fantastic programme of Highland Dancing, Poetry, instrumental groups and solos and performances by the School Choir.
They were also joined by Arthur Taylor who performed “Northern Lights” with the choir and went on to close the show with a solo.
Stovies were served at half time and there was also a Raffle and Tablet was sold.
An amazing total of £1,479.82 was raised on the night.
Clerkhill School PSA would like to take this opportunity to say a big well done to all the pupils who took part and also a big thank you to everyone who attended and helped support this event.
