A North-east caravan park has been raising money for a Peterhead school.
The Woodlea Caravan Park at New Byth raised a total of £575.40 for the Anna Ritchie School.
The owners of the caravan site decided to hold a fund-raising event for the school because one of their regular visitors, John Barraclough, goes there with his nana and granda Barclay. John is a pupil at the school and is currently in class two.
To raise funds, the caravan park held a carboot sale as well as an evening dance.
Commenting, Anna Ritchie School headteacher Ishbel Cruickshank said: “We are very grateful for this generous donation. The money will be used for outings and to cover transport costs.
“It is thanks to John that Woodlea Caravan Park thought of us.”
John’s dad, Michael, added: “We’re really pleased to be able to help the school.”
