‘Deadly drugs stolen from town vets

GRAMPIAN Police are investigating the theft of medication from a veterinary surgery on York Street in Peterhead.

The incident happened about 3.40am on Friday, January 14 when a number of medications were taken from the premises at the time. Police are concerned that the drugs could be deadly if consumed. Among the most dangerous drugs taken were Somulose, Euthatal and Narketan 10.

A number of other drugs which could be detrimental to the health of anyone who takes them were also stolen as a result of the incident.

PC James Calvert said: “I would encourage anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of these medications to contact police either via the service centre on 0845 600 5 700.”
