A Peterhead teenager will be representing the Blue Toon at this year’s Miss Culture Scotland Pageant in Aberdeen.
Jordan Nicola Smith (19) will be participating in the event at the Best Western Summerhill Hotel in Aberdeen on Saturday, September 20.
She said: “I took part in the Miss Culture contest last year and that was my first pageant.
“There will be three rounds; casual, my style and cultural, and there will also be an interview.”
Jordan Nicola has been modelling for the last two years as she explained: “One of my friends needed help with their photography course and asked me to model because I was tall.”
She added: “After you do one pageant you become addicted.
“I apply for as many as I can and hope for the best, though I have never not been accepted for one.”
Jordan Nicola will also be participating in the Miss Earth pageant on Sunday, August 31 and has reached the semi-finals of the Miss Scotland Perfect competition as well as being named Miss Peterhead Galaxy 2013/14.
In order to carry on in the Miss Earth contest, Jordan Nicola needs a £250 sponsor.
