Police are appealing for witnesses after vandals smashed the window of a house in the Peterhead area on Sunday evening.
Heavy objects were thrown at the window of a house in the Captain Gray Place area at around 9 pm on Sunday June 26 causing it to smash.
Detective Constable Richard Cooper from the Fraserburgh CID Pro-Active department said ‘’This was a frightening incident for the occupants of the property and has caused them a considerable amount of distress.
“This incident happened in a built up residential area and I would urge anyone who would have seen anyone or any vehicle acting suspiciously in the area at or around this time to contact myself.
“We are particularly looking to identify persons who were seen to run away from the area just after the incident took place.’’
Police Scotland have asked that anyone with information regarding the incident contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
