A Peterhead charity theatre group have said that the show must go on after some of their equipment was stolen on the lead up to their new show.

Red Brick Theatre Group had two of their amps stolen last month on April 12 from their storage unit in Peterhead.

A spokesperson for the theatre group said they had been left “devastated” by the theft.

“Thankfully one of the groups members have given them a loan of an amp to allow the rehearsals to go on.”

This year the group are performing the classic musical “Oliver” over three dates this month, May 26, 27 and 28, in the Peterhead community centre.

The spokesperson said: “The kids have been working very hard to put on an amazing show for all to see.”
