Police Scotland have renewed their appeal for information from the public into a series of thefts and attempted thefts from cash machines in the North-east.

Detectives previously issued an appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 40 year-old Kevin Charles Schruyers.

The enquiry has now featured on BBC’s Crimewatch Roadshow programme which was broadcast on Wednesday in an attempt to trace Schruyers.

He was known to have been living in the Aberdeenshire area.

However, information has suggested that he may have returned to Liverpool and could be in the Huyton or Kirkby areas of the city.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Police Scotland on the 101 non-emergency line.

Alternatively, if you would like to remain anonymous, you can call them via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting ‘Operation Thrip’.
