A woman will stand trial charged with causing a dog to attack two people in Peterhead last February.

Vickilee Galloway, 36, allegedly caused the dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier, to attack Brian Pennie and Stacey Ann Findlay leaving them seriously injured.

Galloway herself is also alleged to have kicked and stamped on Mr Pennie and struggled with Ms Findlay.

The attacks are said have been to the pair’s severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of life.

Judge Lord Boyd set a trial due for September in Aberdeen.
