Fireraising and theft in Crimond

Grampian Police are investigating a suspicious fire and a theft in the Crimond area of Aberdeenshire.

The incident occurred about 1:00 am on Saturday, January 29, at Logie Drive, Crimond.

PC John Grant, who is investigating the incident said: “The fire caused damage to wooden decking to the rear of the house and it could easily of had far more serious consequences.

“We are keen to hear anyone who saw two young males at the time of the incident and who may have been carrying a shovel which was also stolen from the property involved.”
