A special fundraising Communi-Tea Party was held at Morrisions in Peterhead recently in aid of Sue Ryder.
The event was held over three days in-store and a fantastic total of £746.36 was raised.
A raffle was held for a super hamper and the winners were Gillian Angus, Mrs Westland and Caroline Strachan from Peterhead as well as Norman Smith from Longside.
The store’s Community Champion Sheena Irvine told the Buchanie: “We are delighted with the success of our first Communi-Tea Party and we’d like to thank everyone who came along and donated to Sue Ryder.”
Money raised through the Morrison’s Raise a Smile partnership with Sue Ryder is funding new community healthcare services, family support teams and an online community with online support, providing the best possible care to people at the end of their lives and support for their families.
