Peterhead St. Andrew’s Parish Church Guild is having its Burns’ Supper on Wednesday, January 22, please note the early start on this occasion is 7pm.

The programme is to be given by Elaine Silcock and pupils.

Peterhead Methodist Church Sisterhood meets on Wednesday, January 22, at 7.15pm. All ladies are welcome.

Deer Parish Church Prayer Group meets in Old Deer Church Session Room on Wednesday, January 22, from 6.30-7.15pm. All are welcome.

Cruden Parish Church minister’s farewell social will take place on Friday, January 24, in the church at 7.30pm. The evening will consist of entertainment, a presentation to the Rev. Rodger Neilson, and refreshments.

All members or non members are welcome.

The minister’s final service will take place on Sunday, January 26, at 10am andwill include the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

On Monday, January 27, Cruden Guild will hear Sandra Campbell talk on“Mercy Ships”.

Peterhead Old Parish Church has morning worship at 11am on Sunday, January 26, conducted by the Rev. Fred Coutts and the Sacrament of Holy Communion falls to be celebrated in that service.

The Old Parish Senior Ladies’ Fellowship will meet in the upstairs hall on Monday, January 27, at 2pm when Mrs. Liz Stephen’s subject is “Doric Talk”.

On Sunday, January 26, morning worship at 10.30am will be led in Old Deer Church by the Rev. Sheila Kirk. The Children’s Church meets and teas and fellowship will be shared afterwards.

Later, that same day, a service is to be led by the Rev. Sheila Kirk at 4pm in Fetterangus Church and the theme will be Robert Burns. Teas are to be served afterwards.

Peterhead Fishermen’s Mission has its regular Nightcap Service on Sundays at8pm with community singing before that at 7.45pm. On Sunday, January 26, the guest is to be George Stephen.

The next meeting of the Mission’s Ladies’ Guild has been arranged for Tuesday,February 4, at 7.15pm when the guest is to be Grace Donn, Beniah, Teen Challenge.

Peterhead Congregational Church Ladies’ Guild will meet on Monday, January 27, at 7.30pm when the special guests are to be the Cowie Family.

By way of an advance notice, the Ladies’ Guild are planning a Buttery Morning for Saturday, February 8.
