Deer Parish Church Prayer Group will meet in Old Deer Church Session Room on Wednesday, October 30, from 6.30-7.15pm. All are welcome.

On November 3, Rev Sheila Kirk will lead service at 10am in Deer Parish Church. The Children’s Church will also meet and there will be tea and fellowship afterwards.

On the same day at 2.30pm there will be an All Souls Service led by Rev Kirk at the church. Then at 4pm there will be a Communion Service at Fetterangus Church - everyone please note the change of time.

On November 5, the Bible Study Group meets at 7.30pm in Deer Parish Church, while on the 7th the Craft Group will meet at 2pm and the Guild will meet at 7pm. On November 9 the Guild will host a coffee morning in Mintlaw Public Hall from 10am.

Peterhead St. Andrew’s Parish Church Guild’s next meeting is on Wednesday, October 30, at 7.30pm when Moyra Cowie will be speaking about Voluntary Work in Kenya.

Peterhead Methodist Church Sisterhood will meet on Wednesday, October 30, at 7.15pm, when the guest is to be Susan Burgess of Pitmedden Gardens. All ladies are welcome.

The monthly meeting of the Peterhead Salvation Army Men’s Fellowship will be held on Thursday, October 31, at 7pm.

Mike O’ Dell will be giving a talk and demonstration about Model Railways. All are welcome.

The next meeting of the Messy Church arranged by Peterhead Methodist Church, Queen Street, is on Saturday, November 2, from 10am to 12.30pm.

This organisation is for families to meet together sharing in fun and fellowship and children must be accompanied by an adult family member.

There will be no service at Peterhead Old Parish Church on Sunday, November 3. This is the date on which the Peterhead group of the Church of Scotland is having a United Service in St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Queen Street, at 11am, when the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the

Rt. Rev. Lorna Hood, will be the guest preacher.

Peterhead Fishermen’s Mission will have the Nightcap Service on Sunday, November 3, at 8pm and being the first for the month it will be a Songs of Praise evening.

The Mission’s Ladies’ Guild meets on Tuesday, November 5, at 7.15pm when a programme will be presented by the Peterhead Salvation Army Songsters.

Peterhead Old Parish Church Senior Ladies’ Fellowship will meet in the upstairs hall on Monday, November 4, at 2pm. The invited guest is Mark McIntosh (Auctioneer).

Cruden “Messy Church” meets in Hatton Hall on Thursday, October 31, at 3.30pm. This is open to all Primary School children accompanied by an adult.

The Buchan East Presbyterial Council has arranged for a meeting in Fyvie Church on Wednesday, November 6, at 7.30pm. This is to mark the Moderator’s visit.

Longside Parish Church Sunday Play sessions start again on Sunday, November 3 from 11am 12noon.

All children between the age of 3 and P7 welcome, meet in the church at 11am as usual.

Longside Parish Church Bible Study & Prayer Group will now meet in the Creche Room on Tuesday Evenings from 7pm- 8.30pm.

The first hour of the meeting will be devoted to study and discussion finishing with prayer and reflection, to which all are welcome.

St Mary’s Catholic Church is hosting a buttery morning on Saturday, November 2. All are welome from 10am-12pm. The usual stalls will be there.
