Ellon is now home to the brand new, family run kitchen design and supply business, John Willox Kitchen Design.
John Willox Kitchen Design offers a range of modern, contemporary and traditional kitchens, along with high quality appliances from manufacturers AEG and Electrolux.
Another aspect of the business is supply of kitchens and components to trade customers.
The company has secured a key supply partnership with Second Nature kitchens, becoming the agent for the North-east of Scotland and the single business in the area to offer designs and installations from Second Nature.
John Willox said: “I am so proud to be launching my business; it’s a really exciting time for myself and my wife Elaine who is also involved.
“Over my 12 years working in the industry, I’ve spoken to a number of people who have shared their needs, wants and ideas, and I’ve taken all of the feedback on-board and used it as a basis as to what my business will offer: a friendly, informative and prompt service that continues even after we have installed your kitchen; and a high quality product for an very fair price.
“I’ve travelled all over the UK and Europe to find quality components for the kitchens my business will offer, and I am really pleased to be offering these to people in the North-East of Scotland.”
John continued: “Choosing a new kitchen is a daunting decision to make, and I hope to make the challenge less challenging by providing an approachable, informative service tailored to individual needs. Whether you’re looking for full design, supply and installation or you’re a tradesman in need of supply for a contract, I am confident that we can meet a range of requirements at a realistic price”.
The company launched their new showroom in Ellon on Saturday, January 31, with an open day for the general public.
John explained the reason why he decided to set up his business in the north-east town: “I am from the Ellon area – my home is here too - so it is a perfect place for us to establish our business and showroom.
“The town is proud of its community, and we are actively seeking to become involved, not just as a new business, but as contributor to community developments and events.”
John added: “We are aiming to launch a number of open days and events to give something extra to the local community.
“We are also always open and available to provide friendly advice when needed.”
