After receiving a tremendous number of nominations from the public across Scotland, the finalists for the annual Food Awards Scotland 2015 have been compiled.
Peterhead’s Thistle Seafood is up for Frozen Food Provider of the Year and Macduff Shellfish of Mintlaw is in the running for Seafood Supplier of the Year.
The Crowne Plaza in Glasgow will once again play host to the classy black tie celebration, which will take place on August 17.
Now in their second year, the awards celebrate and reward the very best in the Scottish food sector.
Selected based on a public vote, the awards commend the talented individuals and businesses dedicated to constantly delivering high-quality dishes, produce and supplies to ensure impeccable service to their customers.
The glamorous night promises to be the biggest and most memorable event in the Scottish food industry, with a range of accolades to be presented to the most deserving professionals and businesses in the field, ranging from Best Street Food to the much sought after Restaurant of the Year.
