On Thursday, March 17, Score Group plc will hold its annual Apprenticeship information evening from 6pm to 8pm.

The event, now in its fourth year, will be an informal opportunity for prospective apprentices, their parents and families to meet with current apprentices, company supervisors and managers to find out more about the range of apprenticeships that Score offers.

Attendees will gain an insight into the types of jobs that can be undertaken through the apprenticeship scheme, the opportunities for career progression and will be provided with the relevant information to help make the all-important decision on which type of apprenticeship is right for them.

Information will be available on a range of apprenticeship programmes, including but not limited to, engineering and administration.

This year’s event is to be held at the new Admiralty Gateway facility in Peterhead, which was opened in November to provide dedicated engineering-based, IT and soft skill training facilities.

The facilities are used to deliver training for current apprentices and other employees and through a dedicated training team, Score delivers over a thousand training sessions in-house each year.

In 2015 Score (Europe) Limited was awarded with the Youth Investment Award at Business Insider Scotland’s Best Employer Awards.

The title is recognition of the company’s dedication to promoting staff development, particularly through its apprenticeship scheme, which currently employs over 300 trainees worldwide.

A spokesperson for Score said: “As a company we are deeply committed to offering the type of continued training opportunities that allow young talented individuals to grow, often going on to work in senior positions worldwide.

“This is an invaluable event to attend if you are considering applying for any type of apprenticeship with Score.”

Due to the high attendee numbers anticipated, pre-registration for the event will be compulsory.
