Buchanhaven Heritage Society has announced that “Buchanhaven Volume II” will be on sale on December 13 from 2pm to 4pm at the heritage centre.
The event will also see a general exhibition on display, with the usual tea/coffee and fine piece available for all to enjoy with friends and family,
To further support their refurbishment plan a raffle will be on sale for the last time as winners will be drawn at the end of the event.
In addition, and again to raise funds for the centre, there will be a very old image of a location in the town centre and for £1 a go visitors will have to guess what stands on that location now. The winner drawn from those who guess right will win a prize and both images will appear in the Buchan Observer soon after.
Society chair, Alex Geddes, said: “It is great that our final exhibition of 2014 will also see our latest book go on sale.
“As ever all proceeds from the day including the teas, raffle, books and guess the location competition will go towards our refurbishment fund and we really hope for a large turnout on the day to close our events calendar off for this year.
“Major events and developments are already being planned for 2015 and beyond and it is right at this time to thank all our supporters and for me to thank the team who work ceaselessly in their own time to benefit the area”
