The Buchan Renal Unit at Peterhead Community Hospital has benefitted from a donation thanks to a trio from Fraserburgh.
Martin Ritchie, Stephanie Ritchie and Sarah Watt took part in the Tough Mudder event on Saturday, June 20, raising a fantastic total of £1,312.94.
This year the Tough Mudder event was set in the beautiful estate surrounding Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfrieshire.
This was the fifth time Martin took part in the event and the third time for both Sarah and Stephanie.
They decided to fundraise for the Buchan Renal Unit on behalf of their cousin, Vickie Bruce from St. Combs, who currently attends the unit three times a week for dialysis.
During the 10.8 mile course, obstacles included the infamous Arctic Enema, Everest and Electro Shock Therapy and many new obstacles this year including Cry Baby and King of the Swingers!
However tough the obstacles were, Vickie faces tougher challenges with her dialysis.
Martin, Sarah, Stephanie and Vickie would like to thank everyone who sponsored them and wished them well during this challenge.
Staff from the Buchan Renal Unit would like to thank Martin, Stephanie and Sarah for all of their hard work and support.
