The event takes place from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, March 15, in the beautiful surroundings of Aden Country Park in Mintlaw.

There will be a range of activities, facilities and stalls on offer including a mix of craft and farmer’s market stalls.
Traders at the Country Fair will include handcrafted jewellery, flowers and gifts, locally made olive oil, preserves, fudge and Scottish tablet, top quality meat from local butchers, as well as children’s gifts, clothing, sweets and toys.
Other stalls will offer the chance to support the Central Buchan Rotary Club and the Aden Community Allotments Association.
As well as the many stalls, there will be a host of activities including access to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum and an opportunity to see live birds with the Owl & Pussycat Centre.
There will also be an opportunity for the kids to let off steam on a bouncy castle and the ever popular children’s play area.
The Mother’s Day event will be complemented by a delicious selection of light lunches, home baking and hot and cold drinks from the recently refurbished Aden Café, now operated by local business partnership Joanna and Noel Gall of The Lodge, Strichen.
The Aden Craft and Gift Shop will be open for business, offering a unique selection of locally made arts and crafts, including cards, bags, scarfs, and jewellery as well as a range of books, music, souvenirs, and children’s toys.
Commenting on the upcoming Country Fair, Aden Park Development Worker Neil Shirran said: “Building on the success of last year’s event this should prove to be a great day out for all the family.
“We’ve got a great range of stalls this year, so if you think mum is in need of spoiling why not treat her for a day out in Aden, there’s something for everyone.”
