Aberdeenshire residents are being told to get prepared as a flood alert is issued for the area.
There is a risk of floodingat High Water which occurs in the area at 1.45 am on Thursday the Scottish Enviornmental Protection Agency has warned.
High tides, combined with southeasterly winds, will give a risk of flooding in some exposed areas.
There is a possibility of small scale overtopping of defences by wave action, causing minor disruption, such as road flooding.
High Water will again come into effect at 2pm on Thursday.

Aberdeen City is also under alert.
