With thoughts turning to New Year Resolutions, what better way to start a healthy 2014 than by signing up for Fraserburgh’s Moonlight Prowl.
Registration for the June event will start on Saturday, January 25 with a launch event to be held from 12 noon until 4pm at Fraserburgh Community and Sports Centre.
Committee member Anne-May Adams said: “2014 is a big year for Scotland as it is the year of Homecoming.
“This is a great opportunity for Fraserburgh residents to encourage their friends and relatives from across Aberdeenshire and beyond to come home and take part in a great fun family event, whilst raising funds for a very important cause.”
Anne-May added: “Over the last eight years, the Moonlight Prowl has financed many groundbreaking research programs so whether you are a long time supporter of the Prowl or 2014 is your first time, your efforts will be making a difference.”
Since its inception in 2006, the Moonlight Prowl has raised in excess of £650k for important Breast Cancer research and it is expected that this year, over 1,000 ladies dressed in pink will take to the streets of Fraserburgh to further show their support for this very important cause.
The 2014 Moonlight Prowl will take place on Saturday, June 7 and participants can also register online at www.moonlightprowl.co.uk.
