LOOKING for somewhere new and exciting to take the kids this Easter holidays? Look no further!
Go Ape Tree Top Adventure at Crathes Castle is the perfect fun filled day out for families.
Combining breath taking scenery, the forest adventure takes ‘Gorillas’ (adults) and ‘Baboons’ (young people aged 10-17) on an adrenaline fuelled obstacle course, with heart-in-your-mouth zip slides and daring Tarzan swings, through the forest canopy.
I was delighted when I was asked to visit Go Ape last weekend. And when I told my chums about it, they all wanted to come too.
Despite all being aged between 22 and 30, we were beside ourselves with excitement as we headed towards sunny Banchory. After a half an hour safety briefing, we climbed out first rope ladder and prepared to launch. I admit that I was initially petrified when dropping from the first platform, being a lifelong wuss when it comes to heights, but the two hour experience helped me conquer my fears and turned out to be an excellent confidence booster.
Perfect for those adventurous young people, and the young at heart, get involved this Easter holidays. Visit www.goape.co.uk for more information.
