The Peterhead Producers’ Market is set to make a welcome return.

This will be the first producers’ market of the year – and the first since its highly successful launch in November.

The April market will focus on Food and Drink. Businesses interested in taking a stall are urged to get in touch as soon as possible.

The November event delivered a really successful first market with a number of traders commenting that it was their best ever trading day at any market.

Leslie Forsyth, BID Manager, Rediscover Peterhead, said: “After such a successful event in November we are delighted to bring the market back to Peterhead town centre.

"The market will be laid out to ensure the safest possible event for everyone involved.

"We hope to welcome back many of the local food and drink businesses from the last market, and some new faces for April.”

The market will be open from 10am to 4pm.

The cost of providing stalls has been subsidised down to £40 with the support of Rediscover Peterhead and funding from Aberdeenshire Council and the NESFLAG Coastal Communities Challenge.

Leslie added: “We are really excited about showcasing great local food and drink products.”
