Katrina is promoted to key role in Buchan area by ANM Group
Leading member-owned co-operative ANM Group has promoted Katrina Macarthur to take on responsibilities for canvassing in the Buchan area.
Katrina, who has worked with ANM since 2018, is one of three young team members promoted within the livestock auctioneering division, and emphasises the group’s desire to offer opportunities for “up and coming” local talent in customer-facing roles.
Also promoted are Fraser Chapman, who is taking on additional responsibilities for selling and will canvass all classes of livestock in the Donside and Deeside areas; and Lynne Macarthur, who has been appointed to the role of main office and livestock finance manager.
John Angus, head of livestock at Aberdeen & Northern Marts said: “I'm delighted for Fraser, Katrina and Lynne, who are all well-known in the local area, and who will, we are certain, make a brilliant contribution in their new roles.
"Their appointment further strengthens the team whose focus remains to provide the best service to members and customers, and further cement our relationships at the farm gate and in the auction ring.”
Grant Rogerson, ANM Group chief executive, added: “This is a key part of our ongoing strategy to invest in the business, provide market-leading services to customers and members, and also opportunities for our staff to develop fulfilling long term careers.
"These promotions for Fraser, Katrina and Lynne are a recognition of their abilities and understanding of our industry and demonstrate the quality of talent we have available to us across the team at Thainstone.”
