Workshop fun at Loch of Strathbeg

Buchan folk are being invited to join Aberdeenshire Council Ranger Service and the staff from RSPB Loch of Strathbeg on Sunday, December 8, to find out how to light up your life this winter.

Those going along will be able to make a Christmas willow lantern in the nature reserve’s Starnafin Visitor Centre.

There will also be opportunities to decorate a Christmas tree with bird food decorations.

The event promises something for the whole family to enjoy, and you’ll be giving the reserve’s feathered friends a helping hand too.

If you are intending going along, Rangers are advising that you wear old clothes, as the activities will be messy.

Session one runs from 10am to 12 noon; session two runs from 1pm to 3pm

Suggested donations to RSPB are £2 per person, £5 per family.

Booking is essential, so for more information and to book your place, please contact RSPB Loch of Strathbeg on 01346 532017 or email strathbeg@rspb.org.uk
