The Buchanhaven Heritage Society will be open for tea, coffee and homebakes on Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 September.
As the work of the society moves forward, they need to ensure that the investment in time and money that will go into the refurbishment and the opening of the centre on a full time basis will meet the needs and wishes of the community.
They hope that regular visitors and those who wish to know more about their work will come along and have a blether on one (or both) of the days from 10am to 3.30pm.
Society chair, Alex Geddes, said: “As we enter an important phase of our work it is important we put measures in place to ensure we have got it right before any final submissions.
“I would hope we have encouraged enough people over the past two years that we may get good feedback and support to allow us to submit final paperwork and during the two days we are open, ensure the community is behind the team.”
