Manscaping with comedian Russell

I NEVER thought I could emerge from a gig feeling tipsy without touching a drop of wine.

But that’s exactly how I felt leaving the Music Hall last week after an evening of entertainment from Comedian Russell Kane.

Prancing about the stage in skinny jeans like a medieval jester, Englishmen Russell produced a night of side splitting comedy which put me on a mission to watch every DVD that this man has ever released.

This guy left no stone unturned as he combined vast general knowledge and clever insights into modern life to tell it like it really is.

His observations about class, gender, age, sexuality and body image to name but a few really tickled the funny bone and had audiences in stitches.

Modern and metro, Russell assured audiences from the start that he was not, in fact, gay but had ended up like the “aborted triplet of Jedward” through no fault of his own, but from years of confusion about modern life and a childhood spent in Essex.

From the ‘fridge slide’ after a break up and picking yourself back up off the floor to one night stands with glamour models and the Scottish version of Black Swan (Scottish Pigeon) it really was just one laugh after another with perfect comedy timing.

If you get the opportunity to see Russell Kane, please grab it with both hands. Or join me in my mission and get his DVD now!
