Target 5 to perform in Broch charity fundraiser

Aberdeen-based Target 5 are due to play Fraserburgh Leisure Centre on Saturday, November 1, in an event sponsored by Johnston Carmichael Accountants.

The fundraiser hopes to raise cash for Friends of Anchor.

Tickets are priced at £10 and are on sale at the Johnston Carmichael office in Fraserburgh, Fraserburgh Leisure Centre, Sunflowers Florist and Motor Parts (Fraserburgh) or you can pay at the door on the night.

Doors are open at 7.30 pm and raffles will be on sale during the evening.

Target 5 have been together since 2010 and play songs from the 60s and late 70s and early 80s from bands such as The Who, The Kinks, The Small Faces, The Jam, Secret Affair along with a bit of RnB and soul.

Since getting together they’ve had experience of playing with many of the bands who have influenced them including The Lambrettas, The Purple Hearts, Secret Affair, The Chords UK and Nine Below Zero.

They have been involved with March of the Mods since 2013, a charity where all profits go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Target 5 will be back in Fraserburgh Leisure Centre in May 2015 supporting Big Country.

Marc Culley an up-and-coming singer/guitarist from Peterhead will be supporting the band.
