People all around the world will be joining forces for World Cancer Day on Thursday, February 4.
Cancer Research UK is working with three leading cancer charities - Breast Cancer Care, Anthony Nolan and the Movember Foundation - to help transform the lives of those affected by cancer.
Join in and show support by picking up a unity band for just £2 each, available from Cancer Research UK stores or order one online.
If you want to get more involved then enter a team into the Peterhead Relay For Life, which will take place on Saturday 2-Sunday 3 July at Lord Catto Park.
Money raised will benefit local survivors and fighters who show determination and bravery in their battles against cancer every day.
New teams are welcome and survivors will open the event in a celebratory lap of honour.
The next Peterhead team meeting will be held on Thursday, February 25, at the Buchanhaven Hearts Social Club and the meeting starts at 7.45pm.
Anyone who would like more information about the Relay for Life, please contact Lorraine Coleman (Event Chairperson) on 07928 342619.
