The Peterhead Salvation Army will celebrate its annual Band Weekend with the visit of Andrew Blyth, Assistant Territorial Music Director, from the Army’s Headquarters in London.

The event, to be held on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November, will also provide an opportunity to celebrate the 50 years of service as Bandmaster at Peterhead by local man, Bandmaster Alex Sullivan.

Activities on Saturday will include a Band Rehearsal, reuniting present and former Band members (as well as other Salvationist musicians from Fraserburgh and Aberdeen), a celebratory tea and a musical Festival.

Sunday worship will be led by Andrew Blyth at 11am and 4pm.
