‘Rootin’ Aboot’ event at Buchan Meadows

There will be plenty of fun at Buchan Meadows this week.

A family event will be held at the Meadows on Saturday, July 20, from 11am to 4pm.

‘Rootin’ Aboot The Meadows’ is encouranging families to join the community woodland officer for a dander round the wild side of the Blue Toon.

This family event is being organised through Peterhead Projects Ltd, and will be run by the new community woodlands officer.

There will be lots of fun for all ages and a wealth of nature activities to take part in.

Peterhead Community Woodland is situated on the outskirts of the town approximately 700m west of the A90 near Lochside Farm.

The site which is owned by Score Engineering is around 70 hectares just under half of which is mixture of broadleaf and conifer plantations with some small areas of shrubs.
