British rock band Proud Mary will be play live at Balmoor Stadium, Peterhead on Friday, August 29.
The band first appeared on the scene in 2001 with single, ‘Very Best Friend’ which was just a small taste of the infectious songs that they had to offer.
Proud Mary’s debut album, The Same Old Blues, was produced by Noel Gallagher in just ten days and released on Gallagher’s very own Sour Mash records in the summer of 2001.
The album was well received and as a result the band went on to secure support slots with Oasis, Neil Young, Stereophonics, Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene.
A lot has changed in the world of Proud Mary since they first got together, members have been and gone, and the band has travelled in many different parts of the world.
The passion to play, make quality music and to explore new directions have emerged to make their new record ‘Ocean Park’ another classic.
Tickets are on sale now priced £15 and the band will have support from local singer Marc Culley.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
