One of the UK’s best-loved performers, Paul Merton, and his world renowned Impro Chums: Mike McShane, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki Webster are set to visit Aberdeen’s Music Hall in May with their new and unique comedy show.

The evening will be based entirely on suggestions from the audience, their own finely honed improvisational skills and an almost manic compulsion to show off.

In a variety of dazzling impro games, the group possess an unparalleled ability to spin the audience’s propositions into comedy gold and the great thing is that every show is a new adventure.

Paul has gained an immense following over 25 years as a team captain on BBC1’s widely loved topical news quiz, Have I Got News For You, and he says he adores live performing above everything else.

Paul explained why he can’t want to be back on stage: “It’s the most fun of all the mediums. There is no hiding place, no laughter track and no cutaways.”

Tickets for the Paul Merton’s Impro Chums show on Saturday, May 16 are available online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by calling 01224 641122 or visiting Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall or His Majesty’s
Theatre.
