Teenage gospel-singing sensation Matthew James McKay is preparing to launch his first music DVD.
The 13-year-old is hosting a launch event at Fraserburgh’s Bethesda Evangelical Church on Saturday, November 9.
The DVD is on sale for £15 and contains a collection of music videos for gospel tracks from his previous two albums.
Matthew James’ mother Roseanne said: “He’s doing well. This last year he’s been teaching himself to play guitar and now it plays at all his events.
“He’s changing all the time.”
The videos for the songs were shot in a number of locations including his hometown of Gardenstown, Aden Park and the Cairngorms.
Matthew James released his first album when he was only 10, a second aged 11 and his third, ‘You Raise Me Up’, 12 months ago.
His talents were first discovered when he was in the audience of the Moray Male Voice Choir.
The conductor of the choir, John Buchanan, heard Matthew James singing along and invited him to take part in the future.
As well as playing guitar, the 13-year-old also plays the piano.
He has performed in several Peterhead churches and has sun in Ireland where he performed at a drive-in church at Port Rush.
