Two Peterhead actors will take to the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen this week in a new stage production.
Ali Corbett and Callum Anderson will star in the uplifting musical comedy ‘Made in Dagenham’, which was inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie of the same name.
Ali will be taking on a singing role while Callum will play a character called Barry.
The show, presented by The Lyric Musical Society, is set in 1968 Essex and is about friendship, love and the importance or fighting for what is right.
The story follows leading lady Rita O’Grady and her friends and their battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the Union supposed to protect them.
This is Ali’s third show with The Lyric Musical Society, having previously performed in Annie and Sister Act, both at HMT, and this will be Callum’s first time performing with the group.
‘Made in Dagenham’ will run from Wednesday, August 24 to Saturday, August 27 and tickets are available at Aberdeen Box Office or online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com.
