Peterhead’s Red Brick Theatre Group will perform Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous musical, “CATS” later this month.
Performances will take place on Thursday 19, Friday 20, and Saturday, 21 June at Peterhead Community Theatre.
This year the group are raising money for Grangepark Nursing Home’s Activities Week.
A young production team will be at the helm including performing arts student, Matt Cordiner, who is making his directing debut for RBTG.
Matt is a seasoned performer having been on stage since he was 12, and he has been in shows as far afield as London with Youth Music Theatre UK and he performed with the Scottish Royal National Theatre last year.
Choreographers Jemma Gowans and Yazzmin Zeindler have been members of RBTG since it was founded back in 2007.
Yazzmin is a young mum but has still found time to be part of RBTG.
The group are very proud of her and Jemma has worked very hard this season on difficult routines and a lot of work behind the scenes .
Performing this year for the first time with RBTG is Stacey Robson, who has recently been announced as one of this year’s Scottish Week Buchan Princesses.
Tickets cost £6 and are available from members of RBTG or on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6pm until 9pm at Peterhead Community Theatre.
Alternatively call 07434 192315 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
This production is not to be missed so show your support to RBTG, who have raised over £13,000 for local charities and projects since 2007.
