There’s something for everyone at the 20th Annual Harbours Open Day on Saturday, August 9 at the Old Fish Market, Peterhead.
Come along for a full programme of exciting Indoor entertainment including Bill Gray and friends, the Junior Cheerleader Groups with Yvonne, Lawrence Dance Academy Dancers, the Ythan Fiddlers and more.
There will be lots going on outside too as the Harbours Open Day welcomes the return of the Rickshaw Rides kindly sponsored by Farstad Shipping Ltd, in addition to Seal Feeding, the Getabout Bike Road Show, Aberdeenshire Street Sports unit, Harvester Fishing Vessel visits, Steam Organ, Steam Engine, RNLI lifeboat, and other attractions yet to be announced.
Visit the Scottish Maritime Academy from 11am until 3pm and get hands-on with the full bridge marine simulator!

The food hall hosts the ever popular Barbecue with lots of scrumptious mouthwatering refreshments in store and there will be 60 indoor stalls selling or displaying a wide variety of crafts, products, and information, alongside the model boat displays.
A new feature this year is a Fish Filleting competition demonstrating the skills of the trade which will be kindly compered by Duncan Lucas from Passionate About Fish, who will join us with his wife Sue.
We are inviting Fish Filleters to enter the competition to win great prizes, contact the Mission for more details.
The Fishermen’s Mission are indebted to the many vital sponsors and hard working volunteers who make the event possible and help to raise funds for the work they do helping both active and retired fishermen and their families.
The Harbours Open Day will take place from 10.30 am to 4pm and car parking is free nearby.
Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for concession/under 16s and for families up to 2 adults and upto 3 children is £5.
