The next Super Saturday event will take place on September 12 and it is encouraging everyone to get creative.

Creative Fraserburgh will be in Saltoun Square from 10am to 3.30pm and this is the first time this theme has been used.

Organisers will be looking to see how imaginative Broch people are, whether it be with a camera, while cooking, knitting, painting or anything else.

Bear with Us, Scentsy and Painteramics will be coming along for the first time as well as many of the regulars.

There will be everything from a safe alternative to candles to pancakes cooked while you wait.

Back by popular demand is the fantastic climbing wall where the kids can gain new skills, test their abilities and have lots of fun.

There will also be plenty of other children’s activities including face painting and the Super Saturday Shack.

As it is a creative theme, there will be a Fancy Dress Competition for all children under the age of 16.

Head along to the Saturday Shack at 2.30pm when judging will take place, many thanks to Young’s Seafood Ltd for sponsoring this competition.

There is a packed programme of musical entertainment in store including Danny the piper, Lighthouse Rock and the Salvation Army Band all introduced and supported by local DJ Alan Strachan who is the compere for the day.

If you like to try out new foods, come along to our Tasting Gazebo where all the food is supplied by local businesses and it is all free.

There will be other stalls too with delicious flavours that you can’t resist.

Remember to take advantage of some great offers on September 12 in Fraserburgh’s shops and cafes while in town.

This is the last Super Saturday until December so make sure you don’t miss it.

Fraserburgh Development Trust has received fantastic support and encouragement from everyone at Aberdeenshire Council and the council’s financial support has made these events possible.

The Super Saturday events would not be successful without this support and also without all the volunteers who play a great part before, during and after the events.
