A local floral art group have been busy creating arrangements for an upcoming coffee morning.

Fun with Flowers have made various arrangements to be sold at the Marie Curie Fraserburgh and District fundraising group’s event tomorrow at Crimond Public Hall from 10am to 12 noon.

This is the first time the group, who are based at Maud Resource Centre, have made items to be sold for charity.

Lorna Boyle of the fundraising group said: “We have always sold flowers at our events and I asked the group if they would be willing to make some arrangements for us to sell.

“The girls of Fun with Flowers thought that was a great idea and were delighted to be able to put something back into the community as people are affected in some way by cancer.”

Entry to the coffee morning is £2 for adults and £1 for children.

Fun with Flowers meet once a fortnight on Monday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

New members are more than welcome to come along and try their hand at flower arranging.
