A programme jam-packed with exciting new shows has recently been announced for the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen.

Welsh-born Cate Le Bon will be performing on Sunday, September 14.

Cate, who has relocated to Los Angeles to record her new album, and performed across the world, has worked with Gruff Rhyss on the duet - I Lust You - and on Neon Neon’s album.

She also features on the lead vocals on a forthcoming track from the Manic Street Preachers album.

The Lemon Tree is looking forward to various performances from bands including the Glasgow outfit Casual Sex (Friday, June 6), known for their spiky, tart pop music, Dragonforce (Thursday, September 18) which promises to thrill audiences, while Big Country (Friday, October 3) will perform songs from their multi-million selling album Steeltown.

On Thursday, August 7, Adrian Edmondson, comedian and Bad Shepherd’s frontman brings his folk quartet back for their unique take on punk songs played on traditional folk instruments.

Breabach - winners of the Celtic Connections Open Stage Award (2005), will also be performing for audiences on Monday, May 26.

Tickets for all these shows, and many more besides, are available online at aberdeenperformingarts.com or by calling (01224) 641122.
