Jim Ritchie Photography, based in Peterhead, has been recognised for their gorgeous image of Rayah Hepburn. Brenda Ritchie said “we are already well known in Aberdeenshire for

the quality of our baby photography, but to be recognised at a national level is a great honour”.”We aim to capture the true personality of a family or child in a natural, spontaneous manner”.

Jim Ritchie Photography picked up a quarterly prize in The Master Photographer’s Association ‘Cherub of the Year’ competetion while Rayah’s mum Sharon, of Newburgh, Aberdeenshire,

received a Marks and Spencer shopping voucher.

A larger prize of £1,000 awaits Rayah’s family should the photo win the overall ‘Cherub of the Year’ competetion. The competetion winners will be announced in the autumn.
